I would like to present the final effect of work on the Volvo 740 Turbo.

In the late '80s and early '90s, in Poland, where I grew up, Fiat and FSO cars dominated the roads. Seeing a Volvo 700 series was something rare and special, and that's probably one of the reasons why I fell in love with this car. As then and today, the car stands out on the road with its uncompromising silhouette that evokes extreme emotions - for some an object of worship, for others an object of ridicule.

My concept was to create a Volvo model that would be a car for Sunday drives - normally standing in the garage as a classic. Polished and smelling fresh but with traces of use, which I translated into such details as dirty chassis, rusty exhaust or worn discs brake. The biggest stylistic change in relation to the original was the use of 18'' rims which, in my opinion, added freshness to my Volvo while keeping the elegant character of the car.

The Italeri model leaves a lot to be desired and many times I had the impression that I was making something out of nothing... The final effect exceeded my expectations, but it took me five months of work.
